The original art of this print was drawn with mixed ink (Japanese Sumi and Western blue ink); the two kinds of ink only mix temporary and start to bleed and separate, once thrown onto the Xuan paper, this effect simultaneously contrasts and enhances the composition's idea of convergence and approach.
